On-Site Care Leases

On a monthly basis, several of our unicorns are available for CARE LEASES (non-riding). Come to the farm during leasing hours to spend time with your horse, groom them, take them for a walk on the trails, in the ring, etc. A great way to practice your horsemanship and just enjoy the quiet and peace of Fennel Farm up to 3x per week without the cost or obligation of full horse ownership.

Leases are $175 per month (3x per week) or $116 (2x per week).

Must be 12+ and capable of handling a horse on your own. Ages 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ghost: Sweet, saintly gray gelding approx. 14.3H and 23-years-old. Very gentle. Loves to be groomed and fussed over. Great horse for a first time care-leaser! ​

​

Star: Pretty much perfect 15.1H paint gelding. 21-years-old. Quiet, gentle, and loves to be groomed. 

​

Teddy: 23-year-old morganx suitable for an intermediate handler. Playful personality that can be a bit pushy if he is not given clear boundaries. Very smart and loves learning new things. Not a huge fan of being groomed, but will tolerate it for the right person!

Windsor: Beautiful 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood, 16.1H. Windsor is an absolute ham! Suitable for an intermediate handler as he is very sweet, but knows how big he is. Enjoys being pampered and going for walks in the ring.

Moose: Our newest rescue, Moose is a GIANT 17.2H warmblood. 20-years-old (approximately). While gentle and loving, Moose does require a knowledgeable leaser simply due to his size. He would love to bond with his special person! Well-behaved for grooming and leading.

Saturday & Sunday, 10AM to 5PM
