Professional: The daughter of an equestrian, Jillian grew up on a horse farm in Maine where she was an active participant in 4-H and Pony Club. In 2007, she graduated from Delaware Valley University with a B.S. in Equine Studies. Jillian went on to manage both a large boarding facility in Allentown and a private barn in Bucks County, in addition to running several successful lesson and camp programs. She is also an adjunct professor at her alma mater, teaching both riding and lecture courses! Jillian is committed to making riding accessible to everyone and fostering a student's natural love of horses into a well-rounded equestrian education that includes much more than just learning how to ride.

She is also passionate about the care of senior horses, many of whom find themselves discarded at auction or left to starve in a field after years of service. Over the past two years, she has rescued six seniors (Star, Duchess, Duncan, Ghost, Teddy, and Sully) from various situations - auction, kill pen, Last Chance Ranch, private ownership - and given them a forever home at Fennel Farm.

Personal: In 2016, Jillian and her husband welcomed their 1st child. Two years later, they had twins -- all boys! When she isn't at the barn, Delaware Valley University, or in the school pickup line, Jillian is in her home office writing historical romance. She is the best-selling author of over 32 books. She also enjoys reading, doing home projects, drinking too much Starbucks coffee, and going on walks with her family.

Colleen's lifelong love of horses started at the age of 10 when she began taking riding lessons. She continued to ride through college and was Captain of both the Bucks County Community College and Arcadia Equestrian Teams. Colleen also taught riding lessons and summer horse camp throughout college before going on to manage a private dressage farm for many years before realizing her dream of building her own barn. She graduated from Arcadia University with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

Colleen enjoys combining her elementary education degree with her love for horses. Teaching children and adults about horse care, riding, and the bond of mutual respect between horse and rider is something she is very passionate about and she shares Jillian's vision for a family-oriented farm that promotes equestrian education in a comprehensive and supportive environment.
